I bought my domain name at Godaddy. Can I still use your service?
The answer is YES!
If you already have a domain name that you purchased somewhere else, it is a very simple process to change the nameserver information to point to the hosting package that you purchase. Whether you buy a Yahoo hosting package or one of the other services that we offer the process is the same. You will be given nameserver information for DNS1 and DNS2 that looks something like sportyserver1.com, sportyserver2.com. This information is entered where you bought your domain name.
How many pages can I build?
In most of our packages, the number of pages you can build is determined by the amount of storage space included in the package. For example; let's say you receive 5GB of web storage space. 5GB of storage space is 5 billion bytes of storage. If you built huge web pages with lots of pictures that were 100,000 bytes or 100K each, you could build 10,000 web pages. Since the average web page is much smaller than 100k, you could build in excess of 10,000 pages on 5GB of web storage space.
Should I build online or off line?
This is a matter of preference.
If you are still on dial up, it would be faster to build your website off line and then upload it to your web space.
If you have DSL or a high speed internet connection, you may want to choose the convenience of building your website online.
