How to Make a Website for Free

Our website contains over 1200 web pages, with free tutorials, web tools and accessories, that anyone can take and make a completely free website. We even provide links to free web hosts. Some of these free hosts require you to use their website building software. Some like Ucoz do not.

Some of the free services allow you to keep your website free and use a sub domain which they provide as your address. Some will require you to upgrade to a paid package in order to use their email servers.

We've given up on explaining to people that if you are serious about your internet experience the free route will get you nowhere. If you are determined to build a business on free resources - I'll see you in the Soup Line!

Free HTML Editor

I recommend the free HTML editor NoteTab Lite. There are built in tutorials and visual tutorials on the website for learning to use it. Download It Here!!. Or choose AlleyCode. These aren't trials. They're free HTML editors.

Free WYSIWYG Editor

You don't have to learn any code when using a WYSIWYG editor. This free editor will work with most of our free templates and many of those you'll find at Free CSS Templates

Free FTP Tool

An FTP tool will speed the process of uploading and downloading your web pages. Your free web host will provide a File Manager for this purpose, but if you get this free tool and learn to use it, you'll save yourself a lot of time. Download CoreFTP Lite. Be sure you download the Lite version. It's free - not a trial.

Free Accessories

What do you need? Hit the nav bar at the top of this web page for free templates, free logos or page headings, backgrounds, free buttons, free pictures and free bullets.

Free Web Hosting

Anyone can create a free website at Ucoz using their free website builder. You also get free web hosting at Ucoz. Can't get much 'Free-er' than that!
