If you specify a name you should realize that there are multiple options for some color names in the standard web palette. (Example: Purple) Be specific. Hexidecimal Code Chart If you don't desire a text outline where it is asked for just specify the same color for text outline that you specify for text color. Background ColorBackground color refers to the color of the page or page section where the image will be placed. Though the images are transparent they need to be created on the same background that they will be placed on.
The image shown above was created on a white background. Notice the white fringe when the image is placed on a different colored background. WidthThe width of a graphic is measured in pixels. The average browser window when opened fully at a monitor resolution of 800X600 can view a page width of about 600 to 700 pixels. If you want the graphic to span about a half width of the page you would specify 300 - 350 pixels. NOTE: Most monitors today are shipped with their resolution preset to over 1000 pixels in width. Height settings are determined automatically by the width setting. Don't specify height Dimensions of the sample images are shown below each graphic. When choosing a width setting, consider the number of characters in your text string.
