How to Use the Hornee FunKit

You have chosen the Hornee funkit. You might want to start by reading the information on the first 3 pages of the site. We've provided a sort of Mini tutorial to help you get started.

The funkit includes 3 prebuilt linked pages. It also includes the images that will appear on your pages. To create more pages, use one of the prebuilt pages for a template. Fill in the footer information and save the page.

When you want to create the new page, load it into the editor and save it with a new name like Hornee4.html. Then all you need to do is change the navigational links on the page so that when a user clicks on next or previous he is sent to the proper page.

Images

Images are just pictures that you may want to include in your web pages. If you don't see pictures on this page you need to create an images folder within the folder where you put these web pages and put the image files in it.

We placed Hornee in a paragraph so that you could see how to put pictures on a page. If you wanted Hornee to appear on the left side of the page you would just change the align property to align="left"

Headings

Headings are the larger black words on the page. They can be used to introduce a paragraph. When you look at the code of the page they are the tags that look like <h1></h1> or <h2></h2> The font family and size are set in the head section of the document using embedded style sheets.
