One of the most common mistakes novice website authors make is placing huge unoptimized photos on their web pages that take aeons to load in a visiting browser. Most visitors are gone before the images are even half loaded.

How many of your dial up visitors do you think will wait that long? Are you still waiting?

Maybe you think that most people are on high speed internet connections. Think again. If you make this mistake on your website, you'll be turning away about 40% of your visitors.

Some people can't get high speed and others just can't afford it.
